Summary:

DH was the project manager for this high-end project to relocate Arrowstreet from their original location in Cambridge to the 30th floor of the Hancock Tower.  The architect designed space that reflected both their success and who they are now, distancing themselves from the start-up look of Cambridge. The new facility featured a 24-seat trading floor, a powerful data center with redundant UPS, and enhanced electrical service including automatic transfer switches (ATS) with a connection to one of the Hancock’s stand-by generators located on the 6th floor. The new café dazzled with stainless steel and glass, cork flooring, metal ceilings and specialty lighting.

Owner’s Project Management

  • Managed RFP selection of architect, engineer, and general contractor
  • Created and managed the master project schedule and budget
  • Attended and/or led all project meetings
  • Supported:
    • IT planning
    • Floor plan development
    • Construction approvals

Furniture Procurement

  • Partnered with the architect in the furniture acquisition process
  • Arranged for tours of other firms to evaluate current trends in conferencing spaces.
  • Developed and coordinated all schedules for furniture deliveries and installations

Relocation Management

  • Managed the move process from RFP to move-in and first day help desk
